Doctor Of Philosophy (Phd. M.A) Doktor Falsafah Persilatan
Requirements:
Candidates for admission to the Doctor of Philosophy program must have a Master of Arts or Master of Science or equivalent (not necessarily from the World Academy of Martial Arts, Philosophy and World Sciences [APS]) to qualify for admission to the Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) program.
The total number of units required for the Doctor of Philosophy degree is 30 upper division units in addition to the preparation of a written paper and oral defense (Oral defense - viva) as well as an original doctoral written paper (thesis) (10 units) in the approved subject area.
For Martial Arts Master's Degree/Martial Arts for full-time Martial Arts, practitioners/ Adiguru/ Muda Masterguru in any style/system of Martial Arts by holding the rank/level of Black Belt [Dan/Degree/Cula] class-5 to class -7 [And/Degree/Cula] with active training experience for a period of approximately 20 years, will also be considered for the Doctor of Philosophy Degree.
Courses offered are as follows:
- Doctor of Philosophy Degree in Silat Martial Arts (Education)
- Doctor of Philosophy Degree in Silat Martial Arts (Science)
- Doctor of Philosophy Degree in Asian Silat Martial Arts (History)
All conditions are subject to the discretion of the Senate or APS top management.
Keperluan & Syarat :
Calon untuk kemasukan ke program ijazah kedoktoran mesti mempunyai Sarjana Seni atau Sarjana Sains atau yang setaraf dengannya (tidak perlu daripada Akademi Persilatan Sedunia, Falsafah dan Sains Jagat [APS]) bagi melayakkan diri untuk kemasukan ke program Doktor Falsafah (Ph.D).
Jumlah unit yang diperlukan untuk ijazah Doktor Falsafah ialah 30 unit bahagian atas sebagai tambahan kepada penyediaan kertas bertulis dan pembelaan lisan (Oral defense - viva) serta kertas bertulis (tesis) kedoktoran asal (10 unit) dalam bidang subjek yang diluluskan.
Bagi Darjah Sarjana Seni mempertahankan diri/ Seni Bela Diri untuk para Pengamal persilatan sepenuh masa/Adiguru/ Mahaguru Muda dalam mana-mana gaya/sistem aliran Persilatan dengan memegang pangkat/tahap Tali Pinggang Hitam [Dan/Ijazah/Cula] kelas-5 hingga kelas-7 [Dan/Ijazah/Cula] dengan pengalaman latihan aktif selama tempoh kurang lebih 20 tahun, juga akan dipertimbangkan untuk Ijazah Doktor Falsafah.
Semua syarat diatas adalah tertakluk dibawah budibicara Senat atau pihak pengurusan tertinggi APS
